bin lucky enough to get under my old girl today in the freezing cold mot time is drawing ever closer, id notice a slight rumble or drone was hoping it was something simple and cheap... the volume button on the radio was a temporary fix! so it appears i need a new hub shocked by the price of a new unit. i have a couple of Q's
i have no play in the wheel at all only a rumble when spinning the wheel by hand, is there bearing on the shaft in the axel?
can the hub be rebuilt with replacement bearings?
i dont want to strip it down and investagate until i have a replacement part as cars used daily(chelsea tractor!) cheers boys!

you need a new hub ,reluctor ring for abs is built into bearings google it there are some cheaper ones on ebay ,ive got britpart wheel bearing hubs on my own (not my usual choice of bearing)but theyve been on 3 years i know as i fitted them when it was a customers vehicle

from what i can see on mine its a sealed unit and your not able to replace seperate parts .. think there might well be a bearing where the driveshaft goes into the case but im shure some one will be along soon to tell ya more ....
