Wheel arch studs

Hi, need to remove the plastic factory fitted wheel arches, how do you get the studs out? Is it just pull and replace with new, is there a circlip, is there a special tool?

The little plastic pin in the centre of the rivet (shown 'unset' in MrJC's eBay picture) should be flush on your rivets.

Using a small screwdriver (jewellers type is good) push the plastic pin right through the rivet, it then collapses and you can remove it - catch the plastic pin and you can re-use the rivet.

I spent about an hour yesterday trying to get these damned things out, just taken me 2 seconds. It's easy if you know the answer!
