Wheel and tyre supplier?

Hi,

Can anyone recomend of a good place to buy some wheels and tyres for my 300tdi disco? I am after a set of 6 Kumho KL71 245/75 R16 on black steel wheels. I have been searching the net and can't seem to find much.

Is it just a case of phoning round the different companies and seeing what they can offer?

as long as you live in the mainland it will be 75.50 per tyre, delivered, or 70.50 collected

if tyou buy a set of new modulars from craddocks then you will save a fortune

I am based near Wigan. I have managed to get in touch with Camskill Performance who will do the six tyres on modular steels for £660. It works out virtually the same price but I wont have to pay to get the wheels fitted and balanced. I take it that this is a good price?

so camskill are charging you 33.50 for each modular. werent paddocks or craddocks doing them for about 18 quid each ????

if you can get to north wales i will fit them for **** all. granted you are in wigan but its only about an hour away and stig does it all the time

craddocks and paddocks are both wanting 30 quid for a modular so bearing that in mind, get them off camskill. he isnt too bad but he must be getting his modulars cheap as his tyres were 8 quid dearer than my supplier.

Give Tony at West Coast 4x4 in Souhtport a ring, He does the best deals on tyres I can find anywhere, he'll also do you a good deal on wheel tyre packages and have them delivered to your door, damn nice people too.

Camskils rims are £33.00 each

yup, but that 33 quid includes fitting the tyres. camskill are sometimes cheaper and sometimes dearer than my bloke, depending on the tyre size. but that package for the 6 is a good deal. as for yer man in stourport, he may be cheap but it depends on the makes of tyres he supplies. if he does kumho, i would be interested to see what prices he will do em for

Hi Dave, Did you manage to get some tyres for your truck?

I am selling my KL71's 265/75 16 on genuine Landrover navy boost alloys, the tyres are less than 1000 old and are like new, 3 of the wheels have some light blistering which can be removed easily with a Brillo pad and the 4th is immaculate.

I have replaced them with the 33/12.50 15s as im so impressed with the tyres, they are amazing!

No reasonable offers refused, I know these tyres are becoming hard to find now and prices of them are due to rise very shortly by at least 7%

Give us a shout if your interested.

I have not bought them yet, I was going to do it today or tomorrow! How much work needs doing to fit the 265/75 on the truck (it already has low profile winch bumper and as of this weekend it will have a 2" lift)?
