can i fit 235/70/16 to standard rr classic 6 inch wheel without problems or do i need 7 inch rims

they go on 16" rims

i know but the early classic had 6 inch wide rims and the discovery has 7 inch can 235's go on 6 inch wide rims though please

They will go on but the narrow rim will cause the tread pattern to deform.

Will they go on - yes
should you do it - probably not.

sorry about the mix up, sheddy`s right the tyre is too wide to go on a 6" rim as the 235 is over 9" wide
