Because the gap between the tread blocks looks too big, like the blocks have just been stuck on to the carcass individually

245 70 16 are a good compromise. Lots of size options and gearing close to original. My diff is about 1” higher on them compared to 255 65 16. Some of that is tread from the m/t tyres though.
Grabber AT3 is a great tyre. We have done 50k on a set in work and they did very well offroad. They do look road biased compared to a BFG or whatever, but if you can live with their understated look, they are an excellent all rounder. Thats why we fit them to all our trucks! BFG a/t is also very good.
Mud terrains are noisy and unnecessary for the most part, but what the hell, its a land rover innit.
