Just running this by you guys.Theres a FL2 for sal near me.Mint 08 hse one owner from new full LR service history 33k miles £11500 is it too dear or a fair price ????

Its was actually the diff that causes problems rather than the Haldex I think - but they're 10 years old now so the Haldexes are probably going to be causing grief anyway!

i was asking the question .Whats your opinion on the price of the vehicle. Is it a fair price or a bit too much.I,m sure if the car is full LR service history and only done 33k the haldex and duff will be ok

You can only go by what else is for sale. I don't know what the prices are in UK - but $20K for a 10 year old Freelander sounds a lot to me. Doesn't matter about the service history - if it hasn't had a new rear diff because it hasn't been used much, then it will when it is used. Have a look see if its been replaced. If it hasn't, knock the price of replacing it off straight away then start haggling.

Personally I'd get an 06 F1, a recon VCU and a bloody good holiday or pay some of the mortgage off... but that's me!

personally I would say a bit on the high side for the year, mileage will help hold its price but I would say about £9750 is more like it, look about and check against others,
is it petrol or diesel

I think it must be a brand spanking top dollar Range Rover :)
There was an interesting article in LRM at the back part about the value for a 2002 L322 RR compared to the Defender 90 2002. The issue raised how the Range Rover may look great, but getting spares when the thing goes wrong is frighteningly expensive. As the original poster was merely enquiring, I would factor in the age and running cost and current replacement parts.

You could get a nice Discovery 3 for the same money as the FL2 in the OP. I know which I'd choose.

Seems a fair price - the HSE FL2 variants hold their value well as they're desirable spec and running costs are relatively low

As for a D3 at the same money I know whilst I love a D3 and love how they drive etc some of the repair bills can be a killer
