What's this. Is it important It's not on?

As above. Found this left over in my wheel bearing kit, is it important? Could it explain why my wheel bearings are coming loose after 1 day (it's been to the garage and they're stumped as to why as well)

thats the spacer/washer that goes between bearing and first nut ,did they use the old one ,fitting new isnt necessary if old is okay ,garage cant know much about your landy wheel bearings ,

They might've done since the set before wasnt that old but got some ****e in it which killed it. I'll check myself tomorrow.

The side is supposed to be bent up against a flat on the nut.....at least it is on every one I've seen

Are you thinking of the locknut that goes between the two nuts? Or does this bend up against just 1?

yes your right its not the thick washer

But the bearing pack came with two lock nuts? One was silver with a longer flat edge on this.

Can't be. It's defiantly got that in. The timken pack came with the silver lock nut that you bend the tabs over onto each nut. And this washer
