any way of knowing if it was a van i dont think it was well i hope it was notSpecial veeehickles eh!
I think it just means it wer built by the special vehicles dept at LR they usually do the commercial stuff like vans but yours dunt look like commercial??? Unless yer bought one thats bin converted from a van ???
But now ive seen yer piccy better it dunt look likely !
cheers take5 that sounds good better than it being a x vanSV also do specials for non price list items included in the spec. For example if you want specialist glazing for light sensitive passengers, DVD player (originally, SV only, now standard on some vehicles), custom paint jobs or othere specialist equipment "factory fitted" it will have the SV plate.
LRM did an article about this about 18 months ago, good read
Can't see anything in the paint code box. Is the colour listed anywhere else on the vehicle? Only asking coz Camel LRs were built by SV department and they had N/A as a colour (even though they looked pus coloured).
It wer Sandglow yella !
Yeah I know, but on the chassis plate and log book it just said N/A for some reason. Apparently it's a good way to spot a fake Camel, 'cause the fakes have "Sandglow Yella" in that little box. Or so I'm told...
can i have a sticker now ?
top tip Gareth !
