Your FL looks like my mates Grand Vitara :)..............it has the exact same paint job.

I saw a Commercial Disco on the way in to work today, it had a 'Special Vehicles' logo on it.

SV also do specials for non price list items included in the spec. For example if you want specialist glazing for light sensitive passengers, DVD player (originally, SV only, now standard on some vehicles), custom paint jobs or othere specialist equipment "factory fitted" it will have the SV plate.

LRM did an article about this about 18 months ago, good read ;)

cheers take5 that sounds good better than it being a x van :D

Can't see anything in the paint code box. Is the colour listed anywhere else on the vehicle? Only asking coz Camel LRs were built by SV department and they had N/A as a colour (even though they looked pus coloured).

don't worry too much, as long as the insurance company know what they think it is. Mine's a commercial, Norwich Union couldn't decide whether it was a car or a van and wouldn't insure it unless I could tell them GVW and a load of other bollocks. Frizzell / Liverpool & Victoria (my current insurer) came back after 24 Hours and said no problems, they were putting it down as a GS 3 Door. Offered to send the insurance co a copy of the log book, but they weren't bothered once they'd decided what it was.
