I wouldn't like to even guess a value, as I say it is all up to who wants it at the time.
I do agree about specialist marketing, though. So unusual and low mileage might appeal to a serious collector/enthusiast, and they don't always look at ebay and so on. Specialist dealer might be able to help with suggesting an asking price too!

Low mileage is sort of expected with ambulances (mine has only done 55k) but the service history could be a gold mine......most got a thrashing when they were demobbed.
Civvy ambulances are rare but it's a shame the military collectors probably wont be interested

I agree, and from what I have seen the same applies to most specialized vehicles, but all the same 23k is exceptionally low for that age.
And a lot less than 55k!
Military collectors maybe not, but it would make a very nice classic camper van

Don't think that mount under the bumper approach would work for too long in deep ruts
Auction will realise the best price , put it on ebay , with a good reserve so it doesnt go for peanuts if the buyer you are looking for doesnt see it . You are not in a real hurry and its worth letting it run for a reasonable length of time.

Not really an exact comparison, though, is it? That is almost twenty years older than OPs vehicle, it is military spec and liveried, and it is tax exempt.

Pilcher Greene conversion seems very similar, although that one is onto a 110, Philips is a S3. I doubt if that will make a huge difference to the value though, so maybe BBs eatimate of 5k will prove to be a good one.

It's defo a Pilcher Greene P type body. They brought out a brochure showing the body on 109's but other than that info is really sketchy

Yes, I read about it when it was posted earlier. One of the reasons I thought it would make a nice camper conversion was the box body being all rustproof materials, fibreglass and alloy.
Not really a camper van kind of guy myself, but if I did want to make one, one of those might be a nice starting point.
