What version is this dash?

I haven't found the dash earth, although I was looking behind the dash so tomorrow I will look for a thin black wire attached to bulkhead on engine side. If anyone has a picture that would help - or describe whereabouts in relation to fuel filter or servo etc.

I tested the voltage gauge this evening and found it to be totally dead. Now removed. Bought a new cheapo one on ebay, should arrive by the weekend.

Reading posts from the previous owner it sounds like these 3 gauges stopped working when the instrument lighting was changed to blue led.

Will get to the bottom of it eventually.

Massive picture so you can see the detail. I have painted a red box around it. It's just to the left of the fuel filter.

So far tried this:

1. New PRC8593 200tdi temp sensor. No difference.

2. Also tried new PRC6663 temp sensor - some disagreement on forum as to correct part number but only £fiver - seems to have wrong thread. No difference.

3. Above-pictured earth removed and rubbed down until shining. Reattached. Gauges still no working.

4. Fiddled around again, ran temporary wire from sender to gauge, temporary wire to earth on battery, no reading at all now.

5. Removed temp gauge, put test meter from green feed wire to earth, blew fuse.

Replaced fuse, put it all back together. Still overreading exactly as before. No harm done, but still no clue.

Also removed battery voltage gauge - dead as the proverbial, ordered new chinese one of ebay. Will see if that reads OK.
