What swivels have I got?

If the swivel balls were the same for the railko bush and bearings, why does Land Rover list 2 part numbers for them?

Series started with top bearings, but they were found to be rubbish, so they went over to Railko bushes, which were fitted for a long time, well into coil spring model production, and then they decided to go back to bearings.

The first Land Rovers had a spring loaded cone in the top of the swivels of what looked like bronze. My 58 2 had them. I guess the idea was it automatically took up wear, problem was the steel splined rod from the steering arm to the bush would wear and slack would be in a place where the spring had no effect. Changed my 2's to Railko bush which was a straight swap and probably a cheaper part to make.
