Hi Discool,
I Had a look at the thread that you pointed me at,...I went on the NGK site to see what they suggest after clicking the Disclaimer I was told a BPR6E,...EBay are cheap enough would have to rind up about postage for 8x of them,...Up to now it,s great ....BUT! will these plugs be suitable for a Gas Conversion?,...There is No mention of a Gas Conversion on NGK,s website............

So! Back to my Original Question "What Spark Plugs for V8i 3.9 Gas conv?"
Many Thanks for your Patience.

I have a 96 disco 1 V8 and i had NGK BPR6E in mine when i serviced it recently, i replaced them with the same, take 1 out and see what your already using. Go to the the RPI website (google RPI V8) and get the number off there, give them a bell and they will discuss what plugs will best suit you (different gap, heat ranges etc) very helpful indeed and a lot more to it than i had assumed, also have a chat with your local LPG mech and see what he would suggest, you can also buy magnacor blue HT leads specially for an LPG V8, bit pricey mind....maybe santa will get me some.

Oem leads and NGK BPR6ES plugs are all you need, fine for LPG too.Dont bother with RPI,they will try to sell you a load of gear you dont need.

i called and spoke to em fer some advice about coil packs and the guy on the was shuvin info down me neck before i asked anything... magnecore leads buy from us...**** me he wuz too keen.. cudnt get a word in edgeways

OUR V8 has got Champion double-insulated leads and Champion OE138 plugs.

The leads were on it when we bought it, the plugs we got from the 'States, $5.60 each plus postage to our friends in Arizona, who brought them over for us.

Put the plugs in with a smear of Copaslip on the threads.

Magnecor are nice but a whole lot more than you need for a road car, and very pricey!
