What size tyres to fit?

Anything up to 33''. 35's will probably rub your steering components.

Just make sure you get rims with the correct offset.

33 inch is a different way of measuring tire diameter. its bigger than 265's put it that way. if you look at a few tire websites you will see some tires quoted in inches (ie. 33x10.5 instead of 265/85).

what he means by offset is that your tires will be so wide at that size that you cant just fit them to a standard rim and hope they fit, they will rub on nearly everything under the arch. deep dish rims will be offset to push the tire away from components and therefore run correctly. if your buying from new get a tire and wheel combo, they will come fitted together and providing you explain you have a landrover 90/110 they should sort out the rest.

both me and specialbike james run 2" lift. im running 265/75 bronco grizzly claws on white 8 spokes and jim is running 33" x 10.5's (i think) khumo's. both work really well with 2" even though there is room for me to go bigger. jim has done his research on lift kits and tires so listen to him.

I'm no expert, just talk to the supplier you have in mind, and if they are any good they should see you right.

My 33 by 12.5 Khumo's required both a very deep dish rim and 15'' diameter rims. Some of the larger tyre sizes (anything from 33'' up) require a 15'' rim.

Maybe get some tyres in mind and then post them up, we can always let you know if they should fit or not.

There are as many problems as there are benefits so it can be a minefield.

I used Devon 4x4 and they were excellent in giving me good, free advice.

Hi. I've been considering the same question. I have it on good authority (on this forum and from a Land Rover Dealer - Rogers of Bedford) that 255/85 r16's are as big as you can go without modification. Hope that helps - I'm fitting them on mine when the old ones wear out.
