Not much use on M5, but one of the(many) things that p'd me off about the SLK driver was, upon seeing warning triangle missing from inside boot lid, I asked where it was. I wanted to give us a little bit of a chance. Her response was " oh I don't know about that sort of thing." Second only to response on asking for locking wheel nut: she handed me a socket set. On explaining what I needed , again she had no idea.I was held up on the M5 for about an hour, while the road was closed because a chap had been killed changing his wheel on the hard shoulder.
Another driver swerved on to the hard shoulder, and hit him while he was jacking up the car.
No Kumhos.
People should not be allowed a licence , unless they know the most basic maintenance. Not much, just how to check oil if driving a car without digital dipstick, how to top up windscreen/radiator fluids, how to change a wheel and how to check tyre pressure and put in air.
