Haha I know it's excessive, but it's finally fitted, and ain't coming off! As it's NOT being used for towing and just for recovery I should think it will do the job, got lt quite cheap a while back nearly half the price as the standard landrover ones :)

Must admit its a bit of a beast :D

I've got a brand new one of those big NATO jaws in my store room. Bought the small one for the series one though as the big ones too large for it and won't fit right or be any use for towing my Sankey!

just got mine fitted, its on the landrover detachable tow bar bracket atm, up on the highest point, im not sure if I just leave it how it is so I can switch between nato and tow ball easily without hassle, OR do I weld it all in place for extra strength?

and if I wasn't 6ft3 weighing 18 stone id probably have to drive everywhere in diff lock with no steering when its on the back :D

hellooo everyone! anybody be able to tell me what size bolt holds a standard towball to the bracket? (not the bracket to the chassis ;))

Ive got one and it takes a 22mm spanner but don't know if its M16 or M18?
sorry for a bit of a dim engineering question but I don't want to order the wrong ones! :)

Have a nice day all!
