What size are my nuts!

Hi all,

After searching I couldnt find the exact information and answer I was looking for. Basically I had the dreaded rubber doughnut fail on me at the weekend on my Disco1 300 and thought best time to convert to the 200TDI rear prop setup. Ordered the 4 bolt flange and got the nuts/bolts coming for that end of the prop but i'm not 100% sure on the size of the nuts for the end of the prop that goes onto the brake drum. Question is does anyone know what thread is on the bolts coming out of the drum as id probably be able to get them from my local engineering place.
If this has been answered before ill hang my head in shame and someone can point me out the link

they arent std bolts though they are 3/8 unf google frc3602 for bolts for drum end and 509045p for diff end nuts for both are nz606041l
 
Ah so the nuts on both ends of the prop are the same? Realised they must be imperial but as they crumbled at the sight of a spanner coming near them it made it difficult to be sure, I should be able to re use the nuts from the diff end as they were near new looking but bolt heads hat been well chewed up by the flange.

its been part of my job for quite a few years , where i used to work we used to build new and recon units for lr ,mod and others i used to make up the build lists by part number amongst other stuff
 
Don't post much but read plenty and always impressed by a few lads on here and their knowledge, saved me some hassle and eliminations by trial.
 
Thanks for the help James, thought you had maybe looked up those part numbers looks like you actually know them off by heart, fantastic!
 
The use of forums for myself has been an invaluable source of informative knowledge, and through other forums I use a great social tool, so much so that I have friends now up and down the country....we all meet up 2-3 times a year and have some great socials.

This forum was pointed out to me as a must for LR owners, after 3-4 years I realise why... addictive vehicles though!

+1, I bought a haynes manual for my first car, barely used it and always referred to a forum as no doubt someone has done it before and has the answers already waiting.
