What series axles?

I bought myself another series for spares and was wondering if anyone knows what the axles are off,they have the lwb brakes on the front axle,hub gaiters and both axle casings are strengthened,Any ideas?,cheers.

Can't see the bottom of the banjo's but are they completly round? i.e no flat bottom to the axle casings?

Look like arly series IIa's lwb to me but hey need to see the bottom of the axle cases really.

Hubs and wheel nuts say late 2a or series 3,strengtheners point to 2a forward control.

Military and some IIa's had strengtheners.

my old s2a 88"(1969) had them strengthers front and back

Sounds as thou it was ex mil or RAF or Fire

Cheers guys,I put the chassis number in the vin calculator and it says "modified but modifications unknown" so military or fire could be a possibility.

They're up for sale if anyone wants them and they have the 3.54:1 ratio diffs in.
