Ive had a hot running problem for a while now. After a bit of towing or booting it a bit the needle goes to max. The rad is cool at the bottom, warm at the top and hot in the middle. Presumably the rad is blocked in the middle. Two questions, is it worth putting in some rad flush or am i wasting my time/money? If I order a new rad, can anyone help me ID which one i need? I have an 88 110 with a 200tdi disco engine fitted. Seen a few on e-bay around the £80 mark but would like recomendations of trusted rad suppliers.
Cheers, Mick

personally id replace it, you know its good then

the only time i tried rad flush was for a blocked heater matrix in an omega as it was a major job to change, it did make it better but not fixed

Had the same issue last year - flushed it out and now it's like new. Worth a try before shelling out a ton.

Take it out and flush it to death , failing that its either a good 2nd or new rad - or even having a new core fitted ( might be the same as a new rad anyway ... ) .
