what mods have been done to put a perkins 4203 into a series 3 so i can put a 2.25 di

what will i need to do to put a 2.25 5 bearing engine back into a s3 fitted with a perkins 4203 re clutch /mountings / bell housing
would be very grateful for any advice

mounts ,remove adapter plate ,series clutch kit , pipe work including exhaust ,wiring

Yep, just took my Perkins out! Slow starter?? 3.5 mins mine took!

I changed to td engine which included, moving mount on os, getting new exhaust section at front, wiring extended to ns for starter and alternator.

We had defender flywheel housing went straight into what was already there, we just added a new clutch.

Oh we moved battery tray forwards but don't think you will with a 2.25
