What make could my galvanised chassis be?

Apparently my series 3 was fitted with a galvanised chassis - I think perhaps a few years ago. There is little evidence of any other restoration work aside from leaf springs being replaced and a more recent quick blow over of paint. I'm only aware of Richards who make chassis for the Series Landy's. How can I tell which make I have? It's all been painted black at some point so unsure if this may hide any seriel numbers. Are there any tell tales or certain ways of telling what sort it could be. Sorry - no pics - not that these would help? Disappointingly it's not got the removable cross member which is an option on some Richards to allow the box to be dropped out under if necessary.
Any idea who else makes / made replacement galvy chassis?

It could also be a Marslands chassis. The paint can be either to make it more original, to hide a galv chassis from catching a thieves eye - don't think paint + dodgy!

There may well be no vin on the chassis. It is not a requirement.

Im sure marsland did series chassis a few years back, they also did heavy duty models with thicker steel.
Has it got two steering relay holes in the front crossmember?
As i think marsland were just a fit all series chassis, whereas richards are exact copies, with only one relay hole.
What sort of axle strap brackets has it got, stick out or flat to the chassis face?

The axle strap brackets look exactly the same as on original series 3's in design. I'm starting to think it may be a Richards.

On another point, she doesn't appear to have any axle straps on her - how important are these?

Well just looked at richards advert in lr mag and there was a pic of a series chassis with two relay holes!
Axle straps not important mine hasnt had any for years, for the last two years its spent most of its time laning and nothing gone wrong.
I doubt the std multi leaf springs would have enough droop to damage the brake hoses, parabolics poss a problem
