what length high-lift?

Back on the original train of thought i have a jackall 48" and it does the job (it came free with the landy) it lifted the whole rear end of me 109" when i dropped the tank out to weld the chassis (i only lifted with it i used axle stands to hold it)
 
why the **** would you wana lift a deepender 60 inches up in the air ? you got the little straps to stop the wheel saggin . for winching maybe. also what benifit is a highlift extreme exept is black and has extreme wote on it

that told you...

you dont actually lift it the 4-5ft do you? the bumper/cross member will already be 2ft up depending on lift/bumper position/tyres.

so you only have scope for 2ft or so more.

what if your ground out on your axles and need to lift it up over them? youneed the extra room to move. 4ft standard is a good allround bet. 5ft if your using it as a recovery tool too and dont mind storage complications. ie. you could mount it on the swingaway carrier/roof etc.
