A good start is to pressure wash underside and have a good look at the chassis. Then have another good look at the chassis. Once you know what work is ahead change all the fluids.
You will need plenty EP90 for transmission and swivels, 11 pints of 20/50 for the engine.
When you have done all that drive it and make a list of what you find to sort out. The list will grow by the day but most of all enjoy it, ladies are a hoot to drive.
Wee Freudian slip there?
Anyway, it looks like a Series 3, but could always be a later Series 2a with a Series 3 grille, or even an earlier 2 or 2a with a later front end - they're not unusual! If it's a 2 or 2a, it won't have a plastic dashboard. Or any real dashboard, for that matter!
Rattlegun I shall check tomorrow it looks worse than is its mechanically sound had new injectors other bits and bobs. Is there any thing to look out for/must do Mods..? New to Landys been building MK1 escorts for years.
Thanks Dan.
