Ahh, when I was a young lad CB Radio was illegal in the UK and policed by the GPO Radio division, viciously.Break the law?
But there again the Freelander had not been designed!

I have the durite map light clamped through the hole, with a 7mm copex fed through and round to the headlining as well.

I then made up a plate to fit in the CD holder next to the existing fusebox. This would hold everything for the forward auxiliary electrics, with a rear fusebox and split charge in the boot doing the rest on the roof.

AH, now that makes sense. So I take it only 3 door Freelander users were expected to break the law by having CB Radios! Interesting.
CB's were made licence free and are legal in the UK. just illegal to use them driving i imagine. not being hands free and all. Explain being able to buy one in maplin with no documentation needed

CBs are exempt and legal to use while driving.
