I've got one of those! It plugs into a matching connector on the seat base. God only knows what it does though. The LR seats have been out of mine for ages and not noticed any difference!

I'll test it tomorrow. Looks like its an always on 12v to me. I gotta take the console off again cos numpty here trapped the passenger seat belt socket under the cubby. I don't think it's that much of a problem but the missus isn't happy. :confused2:

On mine it connects to the seat belt catch, and turns the seat belt warning light off.
