Can't wait to get all my, (scrubbed and jet washed), boot trim back in place - I had forgotten how nice it should look as I am so used to seeing bare metal, (in my beast), these days.
As I was also very 'new to the breed' I thought that the large plastic box assembly was some form of 'rapid' electric heater for the rear of the car, (as found in some scandanavian vehicles).
It was not until a couple of weeks later that I suddenly realised that it was a 'Sub Woofer'.
What a confession!
Very pleased, however, to report all of my stereo is working fine - especially so as it was locked out, (and I didn't have the security code), but I found a foil label, (whilst stripping all of the interior), which just happened be the code!
That was obviously all of my luck, (for the next twelve months), rolled into one instance!
