Hi guys

For me it was when i was a kid and my dad with his s11a swb towed a fully loaded H.G.V. loaded with steel that had a blown gearbox at a busy junction and on another occasion and after loosening two victorian gate posts he pulled them out one by one again with his trusty s11a swb petrol :)

In my first LWB took 13 kids camping. They loved it. (Was in the mid-70s).

WOW just seen your location and it just brought back some memories of when me and my dad went to a house opposite the bentley factory to buy a red ford sierra diesel for my dad but that was back in the late 90's though :)

Crossed the Sahara in a 2A, 10K round trip. What a fantastic place the sky at night is unbelievable, the varied terrain and scenery, chased by bandits, sunrise in the Hoggar mountains, the solitude, a stone through the rad 500 miles from anywhere, a petrified forest, all just so dramatic and all in a 2A avec sanky.

Stainless steel fuel tank, and front heated glass, and fume curtain and good Smiths heater (yes there is such a thing... make sure the top is turned on)

my own, i've sank it and drove it home 40 minutes later :D

not to mention the amount of holes and silt i've dropped it in and not broken anything getting it back out apart from alternators and starters
