P38A What is the best make of steering damper?

Looking to change the steering damper on my 1998 4.6 hse and wondered which make is best? Obviously would avoid Britpart.

Never had much problem with either OEM, Terrafirma or Bilstein....got Terrafirma on the Ninety and Defender 110....the 'Return to Centre' type and the feel is very positive and minimal shimmy!!

Genuine one will be the best for stock vehicle. I've got terrafirma one and it gets very stiff in cold weather causing problems with returning of steering wheel to center position..
