Hi all,

I have a 2003 RR Vogue 4.4, the question i have is what is it!
I see loads of stuff written about P38 and the likes, but how do i know what mine is?

Also my i have the "air suspension inactive" message and need to know what disc and cable i need to reset it, and where i should buy it from???? Any recommendations please???

Best Regards

SF

Many Thanks,

Looked on Fleabay and don't seem to be able to find the diagnostic cable/software for a 2003 L322???? They all seem to be P38 ones.

Any ideas???

Hi Silver Fox
Unfortunately it is not possible to reset your air suspension without the purchase of a Faultmate diagnostic box or similar as the later models (2003 0n) were not fitted with a port to allow repair diagnostics via a laptop. Unfortunately the kit required can cost upward of £1000 so a main dealer is usually the only option to have the fault diagnosed and reset. It is however now possible to buy an EAS kicker from RSW Solutions for the L322 which plugs into the diagnostic port to the right of the steering wheel which will reset the suspension and when plugged into a computer, download the fault codes found. The gizmo costs about £150 and is well worth having in the glovebox just in case.
The usual faults found is the suspension pump being tired and requiring replacement (£300 and 20 mins work) or more often the pressure relief valve which can be thrown away and replaced with a push fit elbow (£2.50)
For more info try their website on http://www.rswsolutions.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=268&Itemid=77

Hope you get it sorted

Many Thanks for all the good news guys:(

I presume that no-one in the UK stocks the EAS Kicker? If not, how long do they take to get from the States?

What will be a ball park figure for getting a garage to reset it?

I may be coming back to the UK from Germany for a quick holiday at the end of the week, anyone fancy resetting it for some beer tokens:D

:(

Took out the air filter today:eek: probably the first time it's ever been done!

Decided to try and get it booked in for it's 48,000m service and get the eas reset over here, try at the end of next week was the answer from all places i could find within 100miles of here. Not what i needed to hear as i wanted to travel back to UK at the end of this week, but with the state of the filter, i don't really think it would be a good idea, as thats the easiest bit to get to and no one has even bothered doing that:mad:

Does anyone know the car? Original UK Reg KV53BYR.

Should i risk it????? Any thoughts? If so, any decent Indys around the Hull/Grimsby area????

hi i recently had the same problem suspension inactive i took it to our local dealer it cost me £58 just needed recalibrating

Hi traceym, glad that's all it was. I've got my fingers crossed

Just got mine booked in for an Inspection and get it reset hopefully.

Booked in at Famous Four Products in Louth

Anyone used or dealt with them before? I spoke to them on the phone and they seem a really nice bunch. After emailing them last night, i rung them today, and they had already had one of their vans put to one side for me to use whilst they did the service.:D

I will keep you posted on the service if you want?

Best Regards
