New wheels and tyres this weekend, lovin' my Cooper STT Pro's...
Looks fantastic - what have you done to ensure that they stay with your prized possession?
Getting long winded now JimS, but can you tell me if your Mantec snorkel fits down onto the front wing, or is there a small gap between the plastic and the wing?

I am about to re-fit one to mine but the wing and base of the snorkel, even with the "foam" gasket don't meet together. I was thinking of using a small run of Tec7 to stop ingress of water and other undesirable substances.
I think that I will either put a run of Tec7 and let it cure. I think that should act as a flexible gasket and, if I get it right, should breach the gap and stop any crap getting into the system....It sits fairly flat, but I did run some sealant around the plate as I had similar doubts to the design
as for hanging on to my wheels... luckily I've got a garage it fits in so out of sight out of mind hopefully... doubt the locking wheel nuts would slow the beggars down.
Also done to my landy this weekend- adjusted the steering stops for my new 265/70's.... Now reverse and first gears are getting a workout when I'm parking.... don't want spacers though as the tyres are fitting perfectly in the arches.

Good to hear that you don't need any spacers for all that rubber. You might need a second mortgage to pay for them!
What brand did you buy and how are they for noise on the road?
