What have you done to your Landie today.

Did nearly 200 miles in the old girl today and she never missed a beat! Longest journey do far pretty chuffed with how it went ;)

Refitted the first radius arm with new bushes in, were a reyt PITA to do
Got soggy and cold (again) in the process

Also discovered a foot of M12 threaded rod with a couple of nuts and washers is the most useful bit of kit imaginable.

Got my rock/tree sliders fitted today. Also made a pair of hinges up to repair my cubby box and repaired the latch that holds it shut. Just a couple of jobs done but happy with the results

Spent all afternoon remediating the wiring loom someone had previously hacked at leaving all the relays etc for spots. Bugger knows where they got the feeds from. Anyhoo I now have working sidelights until I put on main beam, then they go out. Might just make a new loom down the right wing as its butchered.

When I removed a phantom switch in the gauge cluster I now need some new dash parts as the tangs are all snapped securing the binnacle. Also, noticed the volt meter was burned out and bodged which explains why I have no gauge lights. Just looked on EBay for a replacement... £50?

So it's fair to say my 'fender kicked my ass today.

Just back from a weekend in Wales, where we had the first snowstorm of the year. It blew a blizzard on Friday night but by Saturday morning it had calmed down a bit. I got up early and went for a drive. Looks like I was the first one out:

Not even the farmers had been up before me - there are only my wheel marks on the road. The sun came out and things looked even prettier.

It looks sunny, but there was a bitter wind up on the Kerry Ridgeway and the snow was still drifting

Drove 100 miles in awful rain, so much so I was aqua planning coming back from Chester. Then fitted a boost gauge to keep an eye on things

Used it for useful things :D

Was helping at the scouts to get rid of a huge tree that was cut down last weekend. Alas the chainsaw broke down and the tree needed to be moved. So ended up looping a tow strap round the remainder (probably around 3 tonnes) and dragged it across the field with my 90. Might be 27 years old and a bit arthritic but still pulled like an ox :)

Just sorting me new shed out god i have a lot of crap lol
