Well....

Went billing yesterday got a good few bits and now have a complete nose back on my D1 with noo grill and light surrounds and a noo winch bumper. Got a replacement dash clock and drivers wing mirror as mine wobbles about so I have no idea what's next to me. Noo central locking box and fob so I will hopefully have my remote locking back. So plenty of things to tinker with. :)

bodged the s1 exhaust with a bit of wire coat hanger as a bracket and some chemical metal to hold the two bits together after the back bit fell off

Thanks to fellow Landyzone members I received my new side panels with windows and arranged to collect my new rear seats, just waiting on the seat base then it will be a ha trick of successful Landyzone puchases!
Much better than EBay !!

I had a new pressure washer delivered and have spend a happy hour or so hosing the underside of my Defender. It's much better than my old one and has a reel to wind up the pressure hose as well as accessories like an underchassis nozzle and an underchassis lance. So I've got a lot of the congealed oil and road dirt off the underside of the engine and gearbox, which was very satisfying.

thats something I really need to do.
got the wingmirror fitted tonight only to find that the motors don't work. looks like I'll be making a good one out of 2. oh well more tinkering :D

Received my new starter motor, as the previous new one didn't work, so got my replacement, fitted and now been out and taken my Landry out for the day, it was very happy and so was I.

10lts cavity wax
10lts hempel epoxy ( they use it on the oil rigs to stop the rust )
5lts black hammerite

Time to paint the chasis and cavity wax

just driven her to work, half the ****s on the road must have their eyes painted on!! tried pulling off a slip n no fooker would let me in, nearly side swiped 2! lol I now have an issue with my window though, cos I drove like a proper landy driver with the window down, it won't wind up to the top! job for me in my lunch time :)

MOT time on Tuesday so my list this week

Front office hub replaced, although nothing showing on dash or Nanocom the wheel had loads of play in it. I also replaced the track bar and track rod ends as they had seen better days.

Anti roll bar bushes replaced as the old ones were showing signs of age.

Had a bit of rough running recently and replaced the injector. Harness and cleaned out the red plug. Also replaced the MAF for good measure.
All had never been replaced before so not bad to get to 160+ thousand miles.

Had a problem with the rest door window that kept coming out its channel. Replaced the channel with a new one and all good.
So tomorrow a clean and tidy and off for a service and MOT
