Set out to adjust the wheel bearings only to find one of my rear discs was covered in gear oil so just adjusted the front wheel bearings as i need to get some better hub seals for the rear which i will do next weekend.
then we moved onto replacing the steering rods with H/D ones we bought in the week inc new ball joints and a new drop arm / ball joint but struggled with removing the drop arm as it was solid even my 3 legged puller set wouldn't touch it ( kept slipping off ) so had to resort to not changing the drop arm but will try and do it next weekend after replacing the rear hub seals.
then decided to fit the new fuel solenoid which was a right pain to get to then after replacing it found the new one leaking badly but think i hadn't tightend it up properly by this time it was too cold so will have another look at it tomorrow before i go to work.
so a ####in sh1t day really
Bought 2 new genuine landy rear hub seals today to do the rear hub seals this weekend aswell as a new 4.5" angle grinder and some cutting discs to sort the drop arm out and fit the new one
