Cobbled an exhaust together for my mate using rusty pipe and a piece of spare flexi
I can weld rust and thin metal together ok but crap at welding thicker stuff

Started cutting out the outer bulkhead to fit repair panels, plus removed the wings, doors, roof and sides ready for paint

Sheared the bastard top bolt of the EGR valve. Its flush with the manifold and the EGR valve assembly had seven shades of ****e kicked out of it. This after a week of twice daily wd40 squirts. That said... me noo sfs performance sillycone tubes look the bollocks.

Yeah yeah. My bruv came out wiv that same gem when he popped over shortly after. Cheeky fecker had borrowed me cans of plus n tt last weekend. All I had to hand were wd.

He has offered to come and drill it out tomoz so not all bad. Hes got all the top tools through work so might as well do it for me. I can then crack on with sommat else.

I heard Duck Oil is the stuff to have. WD40 is just tool cleaner. I got a set of them Irwin sockets for removing mangled bolts and I'm going to buy a set of bolt extracting drill bits after I fell in love with some my mate had

got my alternator sorted thanks to some sleep and lz members
fitted my wading kit / extended breathers not sure on my wading plugs though think my truck already has them fitted might have to check them out after yarwell tomorrow.

hold the cog still and twist the shaft. cog should move towards the motor.

it should also spring back towards the big spring when ya let go.
