EGR removed. Pretty straightforward job. Thank goodness for a flexidrive in the socket set. The hardest part of the job was trying to find the little rubber vacuum line blanking plugs after I'd gone and dropped them. Doh!
Re-covered part of the injector harness with flexible conduit 'cos the stuff that was on it had started to break down and get brittle.
Tidied up some additional wiring at the back end of the engine bay while I had the acoustic cover off and I could reach.
All-in-all a reasonable couple of hours.
So, at the moment I'm up-to-date with the jobs I had planned since I bought the Disco at the end of January; driving lights (with a home made controller), heated washer jets, "Heatshot" hot water winscreen washer, mp3 player connection, fire extinguisher fitted, "night breaker" bulbs in all front lights and LED convertion in the rear and internal lighting (except the indicators).
Left to do; remap the ECU and steam clean and Waxoyl the underneath.
