You should replace one of the stereo switches with a locking switch e.g. Rear wipers and use that saves drilling holes in dash and having lots of ugly buttons all ova the dash

I got a new ignition key cut and took the grass clippings out of the boot,
Goes much quicker without the grass clippings.

Looked longingly at the 110, still parked up where I dumped it after the gearbox blew up a couple of weeks ago. All the bits for the double cab conversion still in the back.

On a more positive note, got my temporary vehicle (Discovery 3.9 V8i) insured, filled up and ready to go for work in the morning...

Woke up went to the landy to take it to get bits done to find out he didnt start just a wizzing sound - didnt have time to sort it as had to be with a client so got a lift to work. Came home rocked it in gear and it released the starter and off she went again - so taking her back in tomorrow

took ignition switch to bits ,removed brass wafers only to find ball bearing was the issue

wrestled the gearbox back into place using two bottle jacks 3 axle stands a ratchet strap and lots of swearing lucky the car has no feelings or it would not speak to me again

Replaced front prop with one that's in better nick than one that came off, it was that bad it was juddering at 30mph!!
