Looks good .. and I, now that it's fitted, like the looks of the bumper too!! Still maybe a bit big for my preferences but I can also see why you wanted it how you've done it. I 'specially like that (is it matt?) colour, looks like it isn't letting light out it's just so dark .. :)

The Hella lights will be removed once the bar is fitted so it'll look a bit different then but other than that its done :)

The colour is actually Hammerite Hammered/Smooth Black mix but I will be re-painting it properly with Satin Black once it warms up properly. It does look pretty good colour wise atm though

I did install the protection grill for the lights in front and in the rear. For an unlnown readon the back on the right is not straight??? I am going for anothe rum coconut water and I will put this thing staright.
One more thing !!!! i did order my new tubo, the EGR by pass and few brake pads etc..
I cannot wait to install this stuff. I also went to a vehicle expo and an old battered land rover TDI was for sale. Plenty woork to do but I really would like to get it...

Large wet patch today, drivers footwell just by the heater outlet. Booked in garage tomorrow, reckon I got a blockage somewhere, air con? Whatever, sort tomorrow and meeting one of my best girl pals for a pub lunch and as she's got to pick me up I may treat myself to a few beverages in the beer garden :p enjoying my week off work too much, frankly!

Looks like I've got a cracked diff housing! Noticed it just weeping yesterday (well a couple of days ago), but when cleaned to check where the leak was it looks like a crack in the case .. Thought it was odd leaking, but not from the flange or gasket .. ;)

stripped out my interior in its entirety

seat box out and replace the ends and fabricate a new battery box.

after my holidays roof and wings off and ill get it into my recently rearranged garage and get the tub off , replace the cappings ,replace the rear xmember and fix up the bulkhead. Get it all painted. Winter project I do foresee

Can't you buy replacement battery box panels? I need repair mine... and the footwell. :)

Thought I'd change the park switch on my Defender, which has never worked, after nearly two years I've learned how to get it to park with timing, but I want it to work :D
Found a spare one in my dads shed, removed the old one and put the 'new' one in, found it had the same problem, no parking, and the intermittent had a mind of it's own, checked the internet and pictures and found whoever had removed it and replaced the wires had done it wrong, so put them as they should have been and the park switch that I already had works perfectly :D Goes to show you shouldn't assume the previous person did it right

Picked Silver up from the garage, was blocked air con pipes, full of ****e apparently but all good now, no more wet patch and air con icey cold, cost me £28. I thought it was a bit limp before...but it's my first air con.

In the last week i've:
cut out and had my mate weld in a new boot floor and the 2 side panels,
fitted a snorkel (yet to be sealed up - am awaiting delivery of tigerseal),
Replaced a power steering pipe after it split on me in east london
Got rid of the rear speakers and run the wires down to two 6x9's in they're own boxes :),
put some bonnet catches on cos my bonnet wobbles on the motorway when its windy,
failed at attaching a bonnet net... episode two next week :D
rubbed down, treated and re-painted some area's of light surface rust,
extended my never ending list of things i want to do,

spent a fortune then remembered its the missus' burfday in 2 weeks
