Bought my springs, found out the sunroof at the rear is leaking because it isn't closed properly  only 5 months late on that and the f**king motor wont engage now so I'm going to have to take it apart and clean the connections as well as look at the fuses and relays :mad::mad:

Removed the sunroof motor from my disco and the one from dads cos his are sealed shut. Gonna fit it tonight then tiger seal the leaky bit up tomorrow. This to do list of mine might get completed sooner than I thought :D

Replaced water pump. Had to take off oil filter and centrifugal filter to get at water pump cover. Put all back together but forgot oil filter.... One gallon of Oil on the garage floor now!

Never buy a vehicle from beside the seaside

Thats what I always told myself but then I bought the Disco from Holyhead:eek:

Rear calipers corroded beyond repair due to the sea air I would think.

Anyway need to fit new ones so I did one side this afternoon, brake pipe broke off so that held me up a bit.:)

Nothing to the Landie yet, but I was given a couple of 9mm 4x2 pieces of ply today, to fit onto me sleeping platform when I can find a tuit. Be nicer when it's flat!!

Thanks to Funky Kipper and his massive tool :screaming_bug_eye_f - cut away the rest of the body from the old Disco.

Also removed transfer box and gearbox and will separate the engine and axles before the chassis and body get weighed in tomorrow. :D
