Loads ...

rubbed down, primed and painted the rear handle recess
took off the grill
removed the two support bars, rubbed, primed and painted
removed the bonnet catch - cleaned and painted with 'rubber black'
painted the bonnet catch top piece
replaced the radiator support bolts with M6 stainless
replaced the two lower strut bolts with M8 stainless
replaced the grill with original cleaned and painted screws
fitted two (round) Hella spots (Xmas pressie from girly-burd) to A frame
cleaned the rear door wheel carrier and repainted.
removed the rear wiper
removed the M24 nut and washer (cleaned and painted)
greased rear wiper arm
went round touching up rusty spots with Rust-Killa
filled the washer bottle
went to get a KFC :)
 
Big day for the Landy. It's a 100" hybrid, 200tdi truck cab defender. It's been mechanically well put together but suffers from electrical gremlins.

New set of boost alloys and 265/75/16's Maletesta's.

CB installed and setup.

Pre heat relay wired in.

Horns installed.

General wiring fixes.

Whats the shade of green? Looks same as mine but cant get a name for it.:D
 
Cut and fitted some aluminium checker plate treads to the tree sliders on my 90.

Not a big fan of checker plate but I suppose this is what it was designed for.

Took the heater temperature and distribution levers off and straightened them out. I have no idea why Land Rover put the little kink in them, straightened out they are much easier to operate.

Yesterday i rewired my back work light and ran new wires for my roof lights and front spots to 3 new illuminated switches on a home made switch panel. Also changed the transfer box oil.

Would be carrying on today as there's still loads to do but it aint stopped bladdy raining yet!
 
Over the weekend I've been very busy, got the rear diff off on friday, been cleaning like hell all weekend, my dad put a few patches on the chassis and we put the new diff on the rear, new bushes, discs, pads, stainless caliper pistons and I painted the calipers :D Good weekend really, next doing the front brakes, starting tomorrow :)
