swaped the front prop for a nice new one with wide angle td5 yokes in very quick job since id had the old one off recently

Unfortunately not someone on here, otherwise I would stand a chance of getting it back!

Anyone got a spare BOC portable TIG/MIG set or some Oxy/Acet gas bottles that they are no longer using? I still have the gauges, pipes, torch and filler wire ... All I need is some gas!!

new rear prop donut, this one lasted 3 months (britpart) on ebefore it lasted at least 2 years, had it on when i bought it, i hate britpart!!!

Mine has been standing buried under the snow for two weeks. This morning it was -13c.
I turned the key it fired up first time then stopped. Second turn of the key and it fired up again and carried on running. Think I will need to find that link about how to start a diesel engine. I must be doing something wrong.

Do you think it started to go the 'way of the pear' when the words 'Looked Like' entered the equation ?

what seemed like a missfire on discovery tdi 1998 , was infact water frozen in the fuel trap coming from tank ! NO hesitation / judder on acceleration now . -6 this am .

relaced the plastic bleed plugs on stat and rad with brass ones,

topped up the coolant at the stat, as it was a tad low, only like 100ml..

heater seems a bit warmer now,,

put my a/t's back on cos i'm bored of the noise from the mudders..

swopped my rear springs over to see if it evens up the roll on cornering..

removed the rest of the uprights from the roofrack so its a flat one now..(as the tree removed the back last sat up hawes way.. looks way better,,

tried to weld the bottom stud back onto my spare wheel carried that snapped off when i tried to remove the wheel nut.. failed totally.. couldnt get any penetration with my little mig..

anyone near leeds with a disco 1 spare wheel carrier they dont need?

was gonna drain the coolant, new stat and new coolant but ran out of time.. gotta go to work at 6.30.. an not had my tea yet..
