bought 2 more, both of the series 3 variety, theyre to... sit next to my trialler(s) untill i have time to restore one out of the 2.....
Dull question maybe but it has crossed my mind.. the ECU is located next to the jack/battery correct? - I have been advised to check the wiring loom for traces of oil in the connector as it can short things out.. (still have to check this when I find out where it's located).. but when wading isn't the ecu/ connectors a worry or do you waterproof them? - just curious as it seems a strange place to put them, considering the shogun had the ecu units hidden in the dash just underneath the heater controls, high up.. each one to their own,.. just wondering how durable they are to any sort of harsh treatment
I took mine for a spin to get some coal.
what's it too far to your door for the coal man to deliver it ?
hahaha yeah the bastarding bolts were stuck solid with waxoyl and rust on the threads
Was thinking one hour max ..but no, bolts stuck fast, had to get more tools to find out they wouldn't move so angle grinder came out, no blade had to get a new one from the builders merchant then spent ages trying to prise the bumper apart and get the bullbar in without chopping it up.
Worth it in the end though! Looks so much meaner
