D2 brake pads done on the front, got my monies worth out of the old ones I can tell you.

Finally got the slave cylinder back in. The opening was all gunged up

so after a bit of a scape, it fitted ok.....

I have also managed to reroute the flexible pipe as I noticed it had rubbed on the exhaust

you can see it in the top right of the before pic.
Off to bleed the system now so hopefully a working clutch today!!

Used the landy to kick start charging up a horse fence battery. Did the job!

Went for a run for this first time in three weeks.
Started first time, ran beautifully, no issues at all'

Ooooh and the heater was great.

Treated it some new wiper blades and the windscreen is now clear as crystal.

Back in the garage now all safe and sound.

Bolted in the last of the floor , stuck back in the sound deadening , fitted steering cowl and bolted on the bumper.
Took it out run it up to temp and went to the shops etc.

Came home parked up and there seems to be no sign of the leaks i had previously.

Replaced the air filter, ripped out the oil soaked bonnet lining and checked the glow plugs and the first one I found was covered in crud, and with a 2.5TD with them wired in series, I though it was easier to replace all four than find how many are dead...

To do after lunch, adjust handbrake cable then go see the local government about staying in the country post brexit....I definitely prefer oily spanners to french paperwork!

Bodged(metal welded) the adapter to the arm. This is back on & new arm & adapter ordered.
Don't want you lot to think I don't look after my motor.

This all started when I changed the bulkhead/wiperboxes/arms

Today I took mine on to top of Long Mynd at Church Stretton even tho the signs said the road was closed because of ice when I got to the far end. I couldn't resist chance of a picture.

1/2 the price at b&q at the moment compared on line/auto factors

repairs diesel leaks without draining the tank

Only takes 5 mins to go off.

I have never used it but it sounds like something I should keep in the toolbox

\be careful, You falling down the rabbit hole!!

... that is my thinking, which is why I carry half a landy full of spares and tools. Oh , and yes I do carry a small tube of chemical metal...as well. LOL.

Put the britpart seat retrim kit on the drivers side, seat is noce and firm now, will see how long it lasts.
