It's grim and it's raining outside
My cooling system and slam panel are in the garage
I opted to wire and refit the dash after changing it all into a raptor binicle and mount.
What a difference looks so tidy. Highlights how rough the end panel looks and I think I need to recover the crash pad at some point it's looking rather tired now with the raptor binicle in place

Maybe at the weekend I'll get the cooling system refitted and it'll be roadworthy again

I also need to dig out my middle seat again .And replace the cubbybox......

Replaced the front window seals. Tried and failed to figure out which type of bonnet catch the current bodge is supposed to be, and fitted cable tie as a security measure instead.
Measured up to make a spare wheel cover, radiator muff and cubby box.
Made up mounting for hi-lift behind the seats, instead of the tube jack.

Radiator back in and pipe work plumbed up

Alternator cabling back in

Starter wired up.
Fuel pipes hooked back up.

Still gotta do steering pipes , oil cooler pipes and the drain all fluids/service /fill all fluids.

On interior I need to replace transmission tunnel and floor pans. + Fit the heater control cable and then get the raptor dash all nutted up.

Photo shows clearly how bad that end piece looks compared to crash pad and the binicle .....

Took it to jetwash to clean Shropshire mud off the underneath and the outside and then hosed the inside when I got home,

Also looked at buying it a new battery , £112 notes from Halfords tomorrow then.

Cheers

Dropped mine off at the 'hand wash' whilst I went for a coffee. Only the outside as I haven't had it long enough to mucky up the inside!

I do not do the "handwash", as trying to explain in Polish, "Do not spray water down the big black pipe by the windscreen" is beyond me, and If I try to act it out I am afraid I will be arrested for lewd conduct...

Cheers

Here you go, put this on a sign in the front windscreen as you arrive next time you go for a "Wash and a Polish":-

Nie spryskuj wody dużą czarną rurą przy przedniej szybie

Google is your friend! :D

Started to remove the clutch hydraulic system and fell at the first hurdle :(
The exhaust is in the way and the bolts between the down pipe and the extension are seized solid!!
I will probably end up cutting them off but for now I have soaked them in penetrating oil :D

@My Old Landy
You just need longer extension bars ;)
If you still can't get it on a wobbly end normally helps
It's the pipe flare nut I can't get to. The exhaust passes directly below the slave and I can't get anywhere near it from the top.
I need to replace the flexi pipe too as it looks perished. I am going to have another stab at it this afternoon :)
