Champagne cider from Brittany in France & no I don't share the bottle.
It goes down too well on a warm evening.
On the last bottle but lucky I'm back over in 3 weeks
Very nice, i believe Aldi has or had some good Cider from Brittany. Tesco do a Normandie cider that's not bad. If i'm honest, when i'm in france it's not cider i go for.

It's the guy selling wine per the litre at the side of the road near the vineyard that gets my money.

We were at reimes at the old race track & then went to find the champagne houses. Trouble was it was a street party & cycle races so we found some old cycle caps & fitted in for free booze & dance.

You want even cheaper wine do Spain.

All done & no chance of sitting down

Now mrs want to take it out for test drive:)

We have a bit more throttle. Ready for the trip to France in a few weeks

Not today, but fitted new brake callipers and pads all round and gave the whole system a flush through yesterday. Clutch too.
Odd, couldn't get the clutch to run clear - it's not big a volume is it? The reservoir is tiny. ('98 Defender 90)
Took off all the rusted to fonk mud flaps, treated and painted the rusty patches left behind.
Brakes feel odd today, getting better as they bed in. Will find a quiet spot on the way home and see how an emergency stop goes..

Checked the spares kit.still complete. Unsure how I have managed to acquire more rotor arms. (Will give these to the MGs that break down next week)
Got with gift voucher a full imperial socket set for the S1
Remove old rally plates & labels.
Pack the French map book.

Left the 110 alone for the weekend.

I drove my light weight on a 300 mile round trip through France from St Malo to Dinan then back up to Cherbourg. And I made it!!!

I discovered radiator coolant pipe leaks, lost the carb throttle adjustment screw (replace with a jubilee clip bent to perfect tick over!) and thought my starting motor has died (but turned out I just hadn't reconnected the earth!!!).

2.5 LTRs of oil were used and a few tanks of fuel! But she made it!

We didn't even the the canvas roof with us!!!! It was the most nerve wracking yet enjoyable trip I've ever done!

Fitted led lights may have got abit carried away with the heat shrink. Had my helper aswell with me.

The red wires for the fans are the next thing to tackle and also going to have a go at water proofing the fuses with those waterproof electrical boxes you can get for outside plugs. As the last owner didn’t seem to like a tidy job.
