Looks awesome now its all together an I see it fits a treat with plenty of clearance above the snorkel .fair play sniffle bag ....youll have to put some pics up of it when they are lit up of a night.

Am I right in thinking thats a nice bike route too ??? I regularly visit mid wales ie ryhadar devils bridge and elan valley been looking for a new route to try .my landy wont be ready till winter so enjoying the bike at moment. .......but I do muss my landy......I've had another trip to Wales yesterday. I trundled over to see a friend at Llangollen and then we went to see some more people near Bethesda and went to Newborough beach, where the facilities have been revamped since I was thee last. The car park is very fancy and there's a toilet block that looks like an arts centre. I think the architects get them out of the same catalogue. Here's the route. No pictures of sights long the way because I forgot my camera, sadly. Lots of coffee was drunk in cafes, and slices of cake and toasted sandwiches featured too. North Wales is full of tourists, including us.
Looks like the tracker wasn't picking up much of a signal in Snowdonia. That straight line from Porthmadog to Llangollen was in fact a gentle meander via Barmouth and Dolgellau, but it doesn't show up.
Yes, it's all very popular with two wheeled fraternities - pushbikes and motorcycles. I set out at about 6 a.m to avoid the traffic, and got to Llangollen shortly after 8. It just goes to show that it's not the Land Rover's performance that slows you down, it's the other traffic. I picked my friend up and we popped out for a fried breakfast, and then on up towards Bangor. I should imagine it would be great on a motorcycle - some straight bits where you can open it up, and a lot of challenging corners. Plus there are a number of establishments, like the Ponderosa Cafe near Llangollen or Eric Jones near Tremadoc, which cultivate a biker clientele, so the car parks are well worth a browse on a fine day.

Another trip to Sainsbury's, with small detour to B&Q to buy some plastic storage stuff for my partner.
B&Q was packed, with traffic jammed solid in the car park. Much of their stuff seems expensive compared to internet prices. Makes me glad I mainly shop online these days.
