Changed my little go-kart wheels for some nice new 33x1250x15's on some beautiful shiny new deep dish modular rims in black with silver studs!! looks awesome!!

Noticed a bit of sag at the front on the springs - anyone know if they do 1.5'' spring spacers??

Also bolted in a new seat belt buckle!

I'm going to wait til it dries out a bit so I'll do a scrap run soon, got a couple of calls to make at 9 and need to load up the car too

I don't mind welding in the rain if its mild steel, did that for a central crossmember on the series, you just get a little buzz when changing a rod over :p but stainless electrodes are very pricey  £70 a tin and upwards if you want 316L instead of 308!

I may do the wheel bearing later in my waterproofs and with a tarp overhead so I don't get any water into the axle casing or into the drums.

Busy enough for a friday.......all my own stuff and still need to finish off a set of series sliders for Joe

I've just driven from Leicester to Windermere, where it is raining. Didn't take too long either. Who says Defenders aren't good motorway cars? I'm off for a lurch around the lakes in the healthy Cumbrian drizzle.

Welcomed the new girl home :D
