Not sure if a 3 link would be any less?

Looking to start my 1 link soon, I'll post lots of pics n info so it can be copy'd ;)

Did this so's I can fold the windscreen down easily if the sun stays out for long enough :D. Not the neatest job but it will do for now

He hasnt had much luck, hasnt been on the road for long, had it on its side, snapped two fan belts too which is odd. tis a 19j though ;) :rolly:

So all done tinkering today.
Fitted front flex kit, 14" shocks& turrets.
Bent a 3ft breaker bar holding the weight of the landy up on a trolley jack trying to undo front radius arms nuts on axle end.
What an arse they was to get off.
Why oh why previous owners can't use copper slip!!!!

On my way home decided to go up a local lane and when I climbed to the top saw steam out of the heater intake, so opened the bonnet had a look and zero coolant in the engine. Bugger.

Turns out heater matrix is split somewhere and the coolant is escaping from there, disconnected both heater pipes and joined them together. Jobs a good'un. At least when the heater box is out I can sort the snorkel out and weld up the bulkhead.

Fitted an allbright solenoid as standard can types were sticking. Can tell massive difference already and stopped my headlights keep falling out when I go offroad. Earlier in the week I've cut arches and fitted flexi arches. Fitted spacers and done loads of welding. Still got sills to lol at yet

And ya never popped in to say hello? I'm disappointed :p. Many a time I've stopped off at that very spot anaw lol

wolf if I had ken'd yu wur in work I would of looked for you. But the large stout man on the gate wasn't very helpful and trying to drive round the Dsg site aint the easiest...small location....I drove into the MAN SV yard unloaded and got going, long 2 days driving....where are you fur next time?

What have I done today?
Had major success with solving misfire/surging under load!!
You guys probably already done this but bought my 90 in Nov last year and after reading various notes about problem I looked at the injector cable conn for any oil in plug, none.
Decided to look at the turbo waste gate, yep seized solid. WD40 a plenty but no movement.
Thought I'll take heat shield off, two top bolts easy but one underneath a bugger!
Drilled out two pop rivets facing offside and prepared to grind off heads of rear facing rivets, but hey presto the bracket was already broken and it came away!
By this time the WD was working and took spring clip off link to vac can and slowly able to move the waste gate.
Eventually I could move lever easily. Boxed it all up again and used self tap screws for heat shield to Brit as think I might WD once a month!
Took it for a drive and whoa! Pulls under load like a train now.
Many thanks for all previous notes about misfire/surging, it really works!
