just put new steering arms on and greased the swivel housings, working all day on other ppls sheds then have to stay late 2 fix mine!!

Refurbed me offside front hub an got it back on:cool:

Disguised me just a bit too short wheel studs:cool:

Fitted track rod ends:cool:

Good day all round:)

Went to put my steel wheels with chunkier tyres on after work. Tried to jack it up and the trolley jack in the yard wouldn't lift it. Went home and got mine. Got the first alloy off and went to put the steel on and realised that they take different nuts (I KNEW THAT) and I didn't have any. Drove 1 hr round trip and picked some up from a really nice chap in Moreton. If anyone needs any Landy bits in Dorset he seems like he's got just about everything.

Got back (via a cheeky scoop in the Antelope) got the wheels on, got the kit sorted out in the back. Ready for the chip run tomorrow!

Finally got the drop plate towing thingmabob off! Learnt a few things:
1. No two bolts are ever the same size
2. An adjustable spanner is useless
3. The last bolt is thing only size you don't have a ratchet for!
4. Crusted mud gets everywhere, especially when you have a torch in your mouth!
5. Same as above, but for WD40

I love my landy, but it hates me.

Replaced the centre section of the Rangie exhaust - I ripped a big lump out of my thumb, got blood on the leather (whilst trying to stick a plaster on the aforementioned thumb), got rust in my eye, dropped a Rachet on my head and somehow ended up with a big bruise on my knee (go figure....)

But after ending up bruised and battered, the Rangie is MOT'd again - and all without having to resort to going to a Dealer.... Sorted.
