Don't all brands have alternate wipers?LR is just a wind up brand isn't it
There's no way they actually sell loads of these things

No Ali, you must have it wrong, they never fail.MOT is in a week so decided to have a look under and check for wheel movement.
Jacked it up and found this

Worse still it was the same on both sides but thankfully I had a couple of spare clips from previous repairs.
Once that was sorted I checked the wheels and found one had movement, turns out the last time I adjusted the tracking I forgot to tighten the bolt .
Then I looked for the cause of a horrible creaking noise that was coming from the front. I thought it was my fault for not greasing the ARB bushes properly when I refurbed the front subframe and ARB but while working at it I found the real culprit.

It looks like the top ball joint has collapsed and was really tight and noisy, this was the last thing I suspected.
Last thing I did was rub down one of the brake pipes and paint it, hopefully this will be good enough. I just need to check the rear now and it will be ready for MOT,
I like to think of the rattles, squeaks and creaks as character. No Ali, you must have it wrong, they never fail.
They guy who did the warrant (MOT) on mine told me mine needed replacement for next one. He recons its why the motor clatters as it goes over bumps. He's got to be wrong too, I'm sure I must have just left a bunch of spanners somewhere under the bonnet.
It's nice to know that the newer stuff carries on the LR tradition we're so familiar withLR is just a wind up brand isn't it

The Union Jack is the de facto flag of the untied kingdomSometime around 1674 the British flag became formally known as the 'Union Jack' when mounted on a warship and the ship was not in harbour. At the same time the British flag was referred to as the 'Union flag' on land.
Sorted this !!Yours is shown as 205 g/km where as all my TD4s show as 240 which puts them in the next category on the tax rates table !

this time yesterday what would you have called this flag ?Incidentally, the quote about the flag was to try to explain what Ali was saying. Flag and Jack do appear to be interchangeable but Wiki says what I posted!!
Interesting stuff.
