Loaded the Freelander's rear door up with, 2 adult mountain bikes and a tag along on a universal type cycle carrier "adjusted" to mount on the spare wheel. Loaded the boot with a BMX bike, the front wheels from the mountain bikes and 3 kids helmets. Filled the seats with the family along with some supplies then drove the 15 miles to Wadebridge. We cycled the 5 1/2 miles to Padstow had a pasty then cycled the 5 1/2 miles back to the car and drove back home. All in all a good day out.
Amazingly the rear door stayed firmly attached to the car even with 2 1/2 bikes hung off it!!!!
At the back of the cubby box on the 5 foor:Where is the power socket in the cubby pocket havent seen that ?
Last night rather than today.
I changed the V6's Vis plenum as it was making a slight clacking sound at tickover. The job went smoothly. The old plenum valves must have been in a bad way as the car now feels very responsive in every gear and the slight flat spot at around 2,500 rpm has completely gone so hopefully there will be an improvement in fuel economy!!
