Hi,I fitted a Kenwood DMX7017DABS to my 04 FL in Aug 17 (replacing the Becker unit). Did you use the Incar Tec steering wheel control interfaces with your radio upgrade & what type of DAB aerial did you use ? I used the stick on the windscreen type (which broke when I had to have the screen replaced) so was looking for an alternative. The other issue I have is when adjusting the volume via the steering wheel it sometimes changes the station I'm listening to so wondered if you've had any issues. Your car looks great, mines giverny green, same wheels. If you haven't done it already a Synergy 2a box with K&N filter is a good upgrade (I went for the eco version which still gives a very noticeable performance improvement & I still get 34-35mpg urban & about 45mpg on a run & it's an auto.I have recently completed in the last couple of days :
All air hose and intercooler hoses replaced
Fitted a Kenwood double din DAB+ stereo with bluetooth microphone
Fitted Thinkware Dashcam (hardwired)
Spent 4 hours retrieving a spanner I dropped between the rads.
And here's my car:-
New tyres fitted today.
Better than the Poprivet "parafin" method?Wiped bird poo off it. Easy to do as it's covered with gyeon q2m wet coat. Wash it. Rinse it. While still wet pray this stuff on then rinse it oft straight away. Helps keep it clean and water beads oft anorl.

You gotta keep those sport rims. They're the best look FL1 wheels IMOI like new tyres.
I missed out on a good deal on some Firestone winter tyres a couple of weeks ago. They were £59.99 all in each, for 225/60/17 size, ideal for my Tonga green 1.8. Sadly I waited and missed out on the deal. Looks like the 18" Sport wheels will take up residence on that for a while, until I can find some suitable tyres for the 17" rims.

WOW! That seems rediculous given they were a manufacturer optionThey do, but insurance companies don't like them. Fitting them to my SE added 50% more to the premium.
I missed that one. He had some strange ideas, so can imagine that was no different.Better than the Poprivet "parafin" method?

Its good stuff. Make sure its clean. Then rinse to make it wet then spray on the stuff. You will see the water start to dispell as you spray it on. Less is more when putting it on. Then rinse oft straight away. It is that easy and works. Should last 3 months i think. Mine is on its 4th month now. A tip from the AG cleaning fred.I might give it a go tbf. It can be.Sold it
After spending over 5 years caring for it, it was emotional to see it leave
